Why Amend My Organization's Charter?
When the Rapture occurs, who will be around to assure that your church or ministry will use the assets of the organization for its chartered purposes? Unless your organization is prepared, one of two possibilities will most likely occur: either unsaved persons will gain control of (and likely misuse or abuse) the assets of your organization, or your organization's assets will escheat to the state as unclaimed property. Neither of these results is acceptable. In each such instance, the mission of your organization completely evaporates at the Rapture.
By amending your organization's charter (or articles of incorporation, as applicable) to provide that, in the event of the Rapture, the organization's assets will transfer to the Rapture Fund to be used for its chartered purposes, you can be assured that your organization's mission will continue even after the Rapture!
The Rapture Fund is designed to collect and use assets for the purposes of evangelizing and providing assistance to those who are persecuted for their faith after the Rapture. Thus, if the Rapture Fund receives your organization's assets after the Rapture, then your organization effectively partners with the Rapture Fund to continue the mission of reaching people for Jesus Christ.
